Tier 2 for 2012

TIER II filing for 2011 season has ended as of March 1, 2012 
NOTE: If you submit your TIER II file thru our web site if required a fee will need to be sent in so we can credit your filing. This is a New Mexico state requirement.  There are no fee changes or other reporting requirements changes for this reporting year.  Please note that we only charge a maximum of $250 per company no matter how many facilities you have in the state. If you have different filers at your facilities for your company please make sure you are not overpaying. 
 
Another note: If you are a Federal governmental agencies, the state and it's political subdivisions and other public institutions then you are exempt from payment of any fee imposed for TIER 2 filing. 
 
**NOTE: At this time we can only accept checks or money orders, we do not have the ability to accept credit card payment. 
 
New Item
You can now go to our Forms tab to attach your saved TIER II file.  Using our on-line form for attaching the TIER 2 file will not require a follow up certification form. Do not use the "Import/Export" feature to save your file for emailing To save your Tier 2 information to CD or your computer  follow these instructions:  In the Tier 2 Submit program use the "CREATE SUBMISSION” in the “File” menu of TIER 2 submit and pick to save in .t2s file format, you can then export the file to your PC and send it thru our electronic form builder in the "ONLINE REPORT FORMS" menu on our website or download to a CD which you can send to the address below.  If a fee is required with your submittal and you are electronically sending  the file your fee will need to be sent in separately.

If you are mailing in your TIER 2 file on a CD or other type of media please complete our NM certification form and return it with your fee and magnetic media.
 
PLEASE NOTE : If  you attached your TIER 2  file to either our online form or emailed it  then we do not require a NM certification form, if required only your filing fee needs to be sent no  than only a felater than March 1st to the following address below:

The software package currently accepted by the New Mexico Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Management for use in electronic Tier Two reporting is the Environmental Protection Agency's Tier 2 Submit. If your Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) and your local fire department are not capable of accepting magnetic media, you must provide them with printed copies of your New Mexico Tier Two form(s). You may print them from the TIER 2 software program. The current 2011 reporting software is available at http://www.epa.gov/oem/content/epcra/tier2.htm

PLEASE DO NOT ATTACH PAPER COPIES WITH YOUR PACKET TO THE STATE; WE WILL ONLY ACCEPT ELECTRONIC MEDIA. PLEASE DO NOT TRY TO HAND DELIVER TO OUR ADDRESS ABOVE; THE SECURITY GUARDS WILL NOT ACCEPT YOUR REPORT.

1st three chemicals (per facility) - $25                                     16 through 18 chemicals (per facility) - $150    
4 through 6 chemicals (per facility)- $50                                  19 through 21 chemicals (per facility) - $175 
7 through 9 chemicals (per facility) - $75                                 22 through 24 chemicals (per facility) - $200 
10 through 12 chemicals (per facility) -$100                           25 through 27 chemicals (per facility) - $225
13 through 15 chemicals (per facility) - $125                          28 through 30 chemicals (per facility) - $ 250      t                                                                          th thhhh  
 
Please note a company will only be charged a maximum of $250 regardless of the amount of its facilities in New Mexico, please make sure your fee payment does not exceed $250.00
any chemicals in excess of 30 will only be charged a maximum of $250
any facilities in excess of 10 will only be charged a maximum of $250
 
example of a charge:
reporting two facilities with 2 chemicals in one and three in the other, fee would be $50  
reporting two facilities with 2 chemicals in one and 4 chemicals in the other, fee would be $75
reporting 1 facility with 7 chemicals, fee would be $75
reporting 15 facilities with 1 chemical in each fee would be the max of $250
